Impressions of Taiwan: National Chengchi University in Taiwan offers a wide variety of English-taught international programs which allow me to meet with many friends from different countries around the world. In addition to learning and understanding the diversity of cultures, living and studying in Taiwan also make it possible for me to strengthen my language skills, both English and Chinese. Apart from academic achievements, I have also grown a lot as a person during a few years that I studied in this wonderful country. I’ve learnt and experienced the spirit of democracy, dutifulness, and commitment of the Taiwanese citizens, and how Taiwan become recognized for its many international achievements. I am truly proud to be NCCU alumni and a part of Taiwanese community.

Throughout the years in NCCU, I have experienced so many impressive memories and met numerous trustworthy friends. Besides from great professors and interesting classes, IMBA also offered variable activities that help us understand local businesses as well as expand our connections. The best thing there was food. There are so many delicious food in Taiwan such as ginger duck, mala hotpot and luwei. Local food is the thing you definitely should not miss out when you go to Taiwan.

Studying imba at NCCU was one of my most precious times of my studying life. Apart from knowledge from the IMBA class that led me to broaden my eyesight of the business world, the other big advantage from NCCU gave me was to learn Chinese and cultivate multinational cultures. I might have no other chance to get to know foreign friends if I were not accepted from this faculty. At NCCU, I knew friends from all parts of the world from classes and especially activities that were held at school. Although it was a very short time if compared to one’s whole life, I will never forget that period of time. Since I have a background in engineering, studied in classes, I learnt several skills from classmates. Because we were in business management classes, we had shared the way of thinking, strategies, the way of expressing those were my weakness which I always realized and continually improved it until now. I would like to thank all the professors, the school’s staff, classmates and friends whom I met in Taipei. Lastly, I would like to thank ICDF scholarship that gave me the biggest opportunities of my life to study at imba, NCCU.

Mr. Chaiyo N.
Finance and Marketing, IMBA NCCU
Class of 2008

During 2 years of study in IMBA NCCU, I met so many interesting candidates and opened my eyes to multinational practices among Taiwanese and international students. Many thanks for support of Taiwan ICDF, I was granted the full scholarship and mentorship program during the whole 2 years of study beside the participation in team building activities in many cities and towns across Taiwan. I also remembered the valuable internship experiences at Taiwan Future Exchange as the role of business developer. I currently work in the fund investment field in Thailand, doing strategic research and investment in equity market. So far my mind has been imprinted by the image of well balance between civilization and ever-changing innovation development.
